HRC starts trading in Bohai Commodity Exchange in China - 08 Feb, 2010
It is reported that a ceremony was held in Tianjin Bohai Commodity Exchange to announce the beginning of HRC trade on February 5th 2010. The HRC price in Bohai Commodity Exchange will be a valuable reference to international steel traders.

Also the Bohai Commodity Exchange will provides new trade channels with Chinese iron and steel production and circulation enterprises. It is expected to effectively promote the healthy and orderly development of China iron and steel industry by attracting large scale and environmental friendly steel enterprises with advanced technology to register their products as delivery product varieties.

Mr Cui Jindu, Deputy Mayor of Tianjin, said continuous innovation and development of Bohai Commodity Exchange will play a positive role in promoting the rapid development of modern service industry in Tianjin and the radiation function of Binhai New Area. Tianjin Municipal Government will fully support the development of Bohai Commodity Exchange by continuing to create a better trade environment and provide better services.

Experts said the continuous spot trading mode of HRC products trade in Bohai Commodity Exchange will contribute to formation of a centralized steel spot market and a new pricing system. And these will help steel enterprises to adjust production in advance optimizing the allocation of resources to maintain smooth operation of steel enterprises.
